Shipping & Returns
Stocked widths go out within 48 hours of payment clearing. Custom slitting and die-cutting start once you approve the drawing. Online orders show freight at checkout; on RFQ orders, freight and Incoterms are on the PI.
Lead times
The clock starts the business day after payment lands — or, for custom work, after the deposit and final drawing approval.
- Stocked widths: 48 hours, business days, if in stock
- Custom slitting: 3–5 business days
- CAD die-cut parts: 7–10 business days, tooling and sample check included
- Those are factory dispatch times. Transit and customs are on top.
Carriers & transit
We ship with DHL, FedEx and a few cross-border air lines. Everything is tracked.
- DHL Express / FedEx: 3–7 business days door to door
- Economy air (YunExpress, Yanwen, 4PX): 10–20 days, cheaper for small parcels
- Air cargo and freight lines: 7–12 days, for pallets and volume
- Incoterms: Delivered at Place (DAP) by default; FCA Shenzhen (buyer-nominated forwarder), FOB Shenzhen (full container only), CIF or EXW available upon request
- Transit times exclude customs and local holidays
Customs, duties & import taxes
On DAP terms the buyer pays import duty, clearance fees and local VAT/GST when the goods arrive.
- EU and UK orders: under DAP the buyer acts as importer of record, declaring the goods in accordance with local destination customs regulations and paying import VAT
- Every shipment carries a commercial invoice and packing list with the correct HS code (usually 3919.10 or 3919.90)
- We declare the real invoice value, as trade law requires
Packing & labeling
Packing is built for air and sea freight.
- Each roll is bagged (anti-static PE for electronics grades) against dust and moisture
- Rolls and cartons are labeled with SKU, size, slit width and the 3M lot number
- Cartons are double-wall with edge protectors; pallets are stretch-wrapped and strapped
- Standard 3M industrial pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes are Non-Dangerous Goods for air and sea (MSDS/SDS on request). Under DAP the goods stay at our risk until they reach your address; under FCA, FOB or CIF the risk moves where that term says, as stated on the PI
Cancellations
- Stocked rolls: change or cancel free until dispatch
- Custom slitting: only before we start cutting. Once a master roll is converted, no cancellation and no deposit refund.
- Die-cutting: once tooling is made, tooling and conversion costs are not refundable
Inspection, claims & returns
Every part is checked against the drawing you approved before it leaves.
- Inspect within 14 days of delivery. Tell us about shortages or defects as soon as you find them.
- We judge claims against the approved drawing (slitting ±0.3 mm, die-cutting ±0.1 mm), the order spec and the 3M lot COA
- Transport damage: note it on the carrier’s delivery receipt, keep the carton and waybill, take photos, and tell us within 7 days so we can file the carrier claim
- Email [email protected] with the order number, lot number, measurements and photos. We answer in 2–3 business days.
- If the defect is real or we shipped the wrong thing, we send an RMA and replace it or credit you, freight included. Custom parts with no defect are not returnable.
